Inktober Catchup! Days 25, 26, and 27

Got behind due to work and school, but managed to get caught up since it’s the weekend. In the home stretch!

Day 25, “Ship”, was a bit rough, since I was trying to draw two of my actual friends and get the proportions and everything right.

Day 26, “Squeak”, went a little bit better.

And then on day 27, “Climb”, I feel like I’d started to get into the swing of things. I’ll hopefully be able to keep the momentum for the next 4 days.

And of course, these were color-corrected for clarity, since I didn’t ink them.

Drawing Hands: New Plan

So “10 hands a day” was productive. But with school and work, I didn’t really have time to do it consistently, because 10 hands is time-consuming

So I bought a massive sketchbook (300 sheets, so 600 pages) and it’s like 11” x 12.5”. When I can, my go-to drawing time (unless I have something specific in mind) will be to practice anatomy in that book. Hands until I’m satisfied or sick of them, to start. Here’s Day 1 (color-corrected so it shows up in the image).
